Wayne and Waylon Brought Terry out to an old friend. Terry went after Wayne on the dirt road the dirt road was wicked rough.When they got to what looked like a junk yard Samuel was sitting in his rocking chair. Wayne pulled in the yard and terry went after with the cat. Samuel was sitting on the porch and Wayne went in the house and made instant coffee and pored sugar till they coffee was a paste and brought it to Samuel and Samuel had another than started to sing and told Terry about the war.

Terry and Waylon pull into Wayne's house and Wayne tells terry that he has a supercharge that would be perfect for his car. Terry tells Wayne that he is rich and will pay him back in cash once he gets back home. Terry and Wayne start to assemble it Wayne tells terry to that Waylon is gay and Terry told Wayne that he hasnt hit on him and Wayne said hes not a pervert. Terry and Wayne finally install the turbo and it is ready to drive. They take it for a drive and they hit 110 mph.

Terry picks a hitch hiker off the road and has him navagate for him, this guys name is waylon says that you should not take the highway because it is not senic and you dont learn about anything. Waylon Brings Terry to a old friend of his. Waylons old friend is named Wayne. Wayne puts a Turbo in Terrys car Terry tell him hes rich and will pay him when he gets back. Wayne decides to go on a road trip with them and they go north to find one of Waynes friends to ask him a question.

connection to my life/ connection to my world

I can connect with terry because i love to work on engines as well as he does. In the book it says that terry loves to work on his lawn equipment in the garage, I always fix our mowers and weed whackers and i enjoy doing it to.
I also can connect to my world because in the boook it says that when he revved the engine the tail pipe roared. Then it woke the neighbors up and got them mad. When i create a racket my neighbors the browns like to complain. Ex when I was playing on my dads four wheeler I held the front brakes and pined it and the browns came out yelling at me.

Terry Anderson is a fourteen year old boy that was abandoned by his mother and father. Terry finds out that his parents aren't coming back to his house for a while so he starts building the kit car. Terry finds out what he needs for tools and looks at his set of tools that he got at a yard sale for 30 dollars witch is a complete set of tool to build cars terry finds a air compressor and also a torhk wrench to use to tighten the bolts at a certain amount of foot pounds of pressure. Terry finds all the pieces of the car in big boxes resting on the frame. Terry place all the pieces on the garage floor. terry is amassed at how hungry he is so he goes into eat looks at te clock to see that it is 3:30 in the morning so terry figure he has no place to be so hes goes back to work on the car and falls asleep while assembling the radiator.
Terry has successfully built the car after fixing a few minor repairs on the car. Terry has decided to travel west in his kit car also known as the cat. He is traveling west to visit his little known uncle. Terry is planning his trip and wandering around the car as hes sees there is no license plate Terry was going to run down to the town hall and get a license plate as he realize he is an under age driver that dosent have a license so he cant get plates for the car. What is terry going to do?

The Car summary

The Car is about an 14 year old boy named Terry Anders.Terry was abandodned by his parents, his parents both thought that the other one was live with him when they both made a phone call to the house , so from that point on the havn't seen or heard from his parents since then.Then one day he went into his garage he saw some box's and what seemed to be a car , but it really wasn't a car it was a kit car his dad was trying to sell but every time someone walked pass, they would shake their and keep walking . Terry deciced to go visit his uncle in Oregon , After all that he was the only family member he knew , except for his parents. So Terry found all the parts, pieces ,and instrutions he needed to built the car. So day by day week by week and Terry at last built the Car . So Terry was hungry from all of the hard work he did.pg.20- So he deciced to go to the store the got ten dollars from his stash and rode his bicycle to the supermarket nine blocks away , and all the way , with every push and pull of his foot on the pedal of the pedal of the bike , he thought , Next time I go to the stored I'll take the Car. pg.21 The car seemed doomed . Terry had lost track of time .He sat on the step leading from the house to the house to the garage eating meat and drinking milk . Terry knew something was wrong he looked of the garage window and it appeared he saw it was getting dark and terry didn't put the hood on yet so he was looking over the a black leather seat looking over the windshield.It was done. he had finshed he after that he went sleep . The next day he packed some clothes, food , speartier,tent,gas,got his money,and of course the car.he was on his way to Oregon, but was one problem their was no lisence.
